Grammy nominated DJ/remixer Mike Rizzo, famous for mixing such top artists like Britney Spears, Chris Brown and Taio Cruz was involved in a life threatening car accident Saturday, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
"It was so bad, he was stuck in the limo and they had to cut him out using the jaws of life," his agent Sal Bonaventura exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
"He was thrown from one end of the limo and back, he's just lucky to be alive."
According to Bonaventura, Rizzo was heading to an appearance at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut when the limo -- driving 75 miles per hour -- hit the guard rail.
"I was on the phone with him one second earlier and just as we hung up the crash occurred.
"The Limo hit 3 or 4 other cars and then the guard rail. Mike was rushed to the hospital."
Rizzo, a native of New York City, had just returned to the east coast after appearing at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles where he was nominated for Best Remix non-Classical 2011 for Sergio Mendes "Orpheus" (Quiet Carnival).
