Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, appearing on The Tonight Show Wednesday, explained to host Jay Leno why he's been avoiding the over-the-top sexual advances from his new Jersey Shore castmate, Deena Cortese

As you'll remember, in the new season's first episode, a drunken Deena called The Situation into her bedroom for an impromptu striptease, then "mistakenly" pulled off her bottoms, but nothing happened.  The next week, Deena made it crystal clear The Sitch could have her that night, but he opted for the company of a  PB&J sandwich instead.

So why is the Garden State's resident Don Juan suddenly not in the mood?

"Normally as a guy, when a girl's standing butt naked in front of you, it's a good situation," The Situation said. "But, but I'll be honest, my head was telling me 'Yes,' but that (points to crotch) was telling me, 'No.'"

"You know what that means -- you're getting old, my friend," Leno cracked.

"No, no, no, I'm just trying to be a little more selective with my castings, you know," the 28-year-old replied.
