VIDEO: Drunken Deena Exposed Herself To The Situation On Day They Met

The cast of Jersey Shore (without Snooki) appeared on Good Morning America Thursday, as the third season of MTV's smash-hit hit is set to premiere.

With Snooki away to promote her new book, the focus was put on incoming cast member Deena Cortese, who said she was brought on as Snooki's "turn-to girl," a second banana that could keep up with the reality star's long nights of partying.

"Snooks needed a party girl," Cortese, 23, said.

"We needed someone upbeat in the house," J-WOWW said in a subtle dig at the cast member Cortese replaced, lighting rod Angelina Pivarnick. "Someone with a positive attitude."

Cortese told a funny story about how she accidentally exposed her private parts to The Situation upon arriving at the house. Admitting she'd went on a drinking binge "out of nerves" before she met the rest of the cast, she said she "wanted to show off my bathing suit with my cowboy hat.

"So, I went to take down my dress show off my bathing suit -- to and I guess I was so numb from being drunk -- I didn't even realize my bottoms came down with it -- I was mortified!"

"It happens all the time," The Situation nonchalantly chimed in.

The new season of Jersey Shore begins on MTV Thursday at 10/9c.
