Sean Penn said his ex-wife, actress Robin Wright took him for "one half of everything I had" in their divorce last year, and RadarOnline.com has all the details for you.
The 50-year-old two-time Academy Award winner, whose divorce to his wife of 14 years was finalized in July 2010, made the comments to The Hollywood Reporter while discussing how he spent most of 2010 in Haiti, rebuilding the impoverished country after the devastating earthquake struck in January.
"I didn't have commitments, except for way in the future; I had nothing pressing," the Milk star said. "I got practical issues -- I had just got taken for one half of everything I had in the divorce, so it's not like I don't have to work."
Penn, who was married to Wright, perhaps best known for her starring role in The Princess Bride, for 14 years, has two children with the actress: daughter Dylan, 19, and son Hopper, 17.
The Fast Times At Ridgemont High star implied he was upset at the timing of the split, as he was unable "to raise his son in a whole family through high school."
