"Haily's just great," John tells us in an exclusive interview. "She's the whole package and she just an awesome woman."
John, 22, tells us it was a friend of his mother's who played matchmaker.
Haily, 23, had a high profile romance with Jon Gosselin that began immediately after he and Kate separated. Their own affair was just as tumultuous as the Gosselin marriage, and ended after a year.
"Hailey is a sweetheart and she's so darn pretty. She's everything any man would want. She's the whole package," John says.
"We've been dating for a few weeks and we're just head-over heels for one another."
