Halloween 2011 is going to get even hotter with Hef’s former flame Bridget Marquardt designing her own line of costumes for the scariest holiday of the year, she told RadarOnline.com exclusively. And she promises to keep the sexy outfits still very ‘girl next door.’
“I am working on a line of 2011 Halloween costumes, which is my big pet project right now. It's going to be sexy Halloween costumes,” Bridget told RadarOnline.com as she crossed the finish line for the Ride For Red bicycle rally at the Santa Monica Pier where she helped raise money for the Red Cross.
“I feel like I have different takes on the traditional things like French maid and pirate but I also have unique ideas. And lot of it is stuff I've worn before that I want to knock-off and I've done creatively. It’s a mixture of all things.”
Known for her zany and racy costumes each year – like the colorful clown in a tutu and pigtails, Little Red Riding Hood, the undead bride or an ab-baring vampire – Bridget now wants to share her original design skills with the masked masses.
“I’ve always designed my costumes too for the mansion. I really enjoy doing it,” added Bridget, who has also designed her own watch for Pascal Mouawad. “And as far as fashion and creative -- especially with costumes and theming -- I have a lot of fun ideas. Halloween has turned into a very sexy costume kind of thing, but I have some unique ideas for girls who maybe don't want to show as much skin, so we’ll see once we actually start designing.”
The former Girls Next Door star has partnered with Roma Costume Inc. in Burbank, CA for the line tentatively called Bridget’s Costume Line by Roma. Like her designs, the chosen name will also reflect her personality.
“I was thinking Bridget's Fantasy Costume Collection!”
And, of course, a line wouldn’t be complete without the appropriate attire for her former housemates.
“Hopefully they’ll like one of the designs that I already do! For Kendra, I'll have to do something sporty and Holly will probably want something very princess-y,” she laughed.
“Halloween is by far my favorite holiday! I was sad when it just passed. But I’m looking forward to next year.”
