EXCLUSIVE: Brooke Mueller Blindsided By Charlie Sheen Filing

While the split was a long time in the making, Charlie Sheen’s divorce filing on Monday came as a surprise to Brooke Mueller, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

Though the couple spoke about their divorce on Sunday, the actor’s filing was not discussed. “She called Charlie yesterday and told him it was over," a friend close to the family told RadarOnline.com about the couple's conversation.

According to the friend, Brooke was planning on filing for divorce on Monday herself but once Sheen got wind of it, he filed first.
In fact, Sheen’s filing was so unexpected that Mueller only got wind of the news after she landed in Florida on Monday afternoon.
“Charlie went and filed while she was on the plane flying to see her parents in Palm Beach,” the friend revealed.

“She found out the news when she landed and immediately called her attorney.”
In an interview with Extra, Mueller said that Sheen is "kinda free to do whatever he wants." Regarding the actor's extra curricular affairs with women, she added, "Charlie and I don't live together anymore. He's not cheating on me. We're separated."
