David Arquette made his first TV appearance since his well-publicized break-up with Courteney Cox earlier this month, appearing on Live With Regis & Kelly Wednesday, where he told the ABC morning duo he was faithful to the Friends actress during their marriage, and only spoke about the split publicly because he “didn't want to be labeled a cheater.”

The appearance was going smooth, with Arquette promoting his upcoming film Scream 4, when co-host Kelly Ripa addressed the elephant in the room-  asking him about the break-up.

Arquette said he loves Cox, calling her "an incredible woman" and stressing that he was faithful through the duration of their 11-year marriage.

Arquette said he opened up publicly about the split to radio host Howard Stern because "somebody sold the story, and I didn't want to be labeled a cheater.

"I'm just trying to be honest about what I'm doing," Arquette said.

Earlier Wednesday, Arquette chatted with Stern for the second time since the split, telling the King of All Media he didn't have a pre-nup with Cox, and admitting he's slept with another woman -- who he described as a sexy Australian blonde -- since splitting with Cox.
