New Details - More On Katy Perry & Russell Brand's Uber-Wedding

As newlyweds Katy Perry and Russell Brand enjoy their honeymoon, RadarOnline.com has plenty of new details connected to the gala celeb wedding that took place in Jaipur, India this past weekend.
Perry, 25, and Brand, 35, are honeymooning in the Maldives, a nation of tiny islands in the Indian Ocean that boasts some of the world's most gorgeous resorts. Celebs such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles, Madonna and Naomi Campbell have all been known to frequent the aquatic wonderland.
We've also learned more on the garb Perry wore down the aisle on her big day. The dove grey Elie Saab gown, according to ET, came right from the designer's Fall/Winter 2010-2011 Haute Couture Collection show. Perry's feet were clad in beaded satin Casadei heels that ran $7,000.
A plot twist from the wedding wasn't so much who was there, but who wasn't: namely Rihanna, Perry's good pal who’s been seen partying with the California Gurls singer many times over the course of the past year, including her Las Vegas bachlorette party last month.

"Rih was finishing her album, and she just switched managers, so she had to pull out at the last minute," an insider told US of the Rude Boy singer’s absence. "It was always sort of up in the air that she would go anyway, and Katy knew that.
"They saved her a room just in case, but they always knew it would be nearly impossible for her to make it as she's still finishing the album and it's out in a few weeks," the source said. "Rih was in the studio all weekend."
