Katie Holmes got scream-happy in 1998’s Disturbing Behavior and is returning to the horror genre in the upcoming Miramax film Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark. RadarOnline.com has the teaser trailer from the chilling movie.
Produced by Pan’s Labryinth genius Guillermo del Toro, the film follows the story of a lonely child (played by Bailee Madison) who moves to Rhode Island to live with her father (Guy Pierce’s character Alex) and his new girlfriend Kim (played by Holmes).

Adding to the drama, the family lives in a 19th-century mansion they are restoring. Madison’s character Sally happens upon a hidden basement which has remained undisturbed since the mansion’s builder disappeared nearly a century ago.
Soon, a race of ancient, dark-dwelling creatures surface and try to drag Sally into the depths of the house. Sally works to convince Alex and Kim that evil lurks in the home before they all get destroyed.
