Redmond is being given a leave pass from his sober-living facility to honor his mother, in what will be an emotional reunion.
“Redmond’s coming,” Ryan told photographers Thursday while hosing down his driveway at his Malibu home.
Ryan won’t reveal where they are paying tribute to the late Charlie’s Angel Star, because he didn't want to scare Redmond.

After the ceremony, the family will go to Farrah’s gravesite -- it will be the 25-year-old’s first visit to his mother’s tombstone.
A heartbroken Ryan says “I still cry.”
“I have her son that’s as close as I get."

Friday also marks the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death — who coincidentally dated Tatum for a while.
Ryan says “they were great pals.”
But Griffin, from Ryan's first marriage to Joanna Moore, remains estranged from his father, after an incident in which police were called to their Malibu home.
Griffin wasn't permitted to attend Farrah’s funeral and claims that his father's tears about his ex-lover are phony.
