Now that Gary Coleman’s parents have withdrawn their court battle over his remains, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the Diff’rent Strokes star may be cremated.

His funeral was originally planned for this weekend, but Sheila Erickson, who is a spokesman Gary’s ex Shannon Price, told RadarOnline.com.  "I very much doubt the funeral will be held this weekend.  It's highly likely that Gary will be cremated, I believe that is what he wanted."

When told the news, Erickson said,  "Shannon is overjoyed that Gary's parents have agreed to back down.  THAT she is happy about."

And she continued to tell Radaronline.com "Gary's wishes are being and will be fulfilled, whatever they are.  His wishes are very simple, and his wishes are listed in his will, so whatever they are they will be honored according to what is in the will."

As far as when and if there will be an actual funeral held for Gary, Shannon's rep said that while Shannon is thrilled and overjoyed that Gary's parents have backed down, "There are legal things to deal with first."

As for the Colemans, “They wanted to do things the right way, and they urge those still involved to do the same. The Colemans ask that everyone please treat Gary with respect and kindness.

“They feel it is time for him to find peace and let his spirit go,” says Jackman.
