In the episode, which was recorded a few weeks ago on Josie's actual due date, mom Michelle spent quality time in the hospital with her preemie, and said that she's happy because when Josie was born, she couldn't hold cuddle or feed her, and now she's able to.
Michelle said Josie was "bigger" and "doing much better," adding that she herself has been spending more time in the hospital with her newfound ability to nurture the child the way a mother does.

Michelle said there's a concern for how she will be able to care for Josie without the helpful hospital staff.
Also in the episode, dad Jim Bob took a busload of his the children on a trip to Pinnacle Mountain in Little Rock Arkansas, where they hiked, learned about camouflaging techniques and (some) even ate bugs.
A special Mother's Day episode of 19 Kids & Counting, titled Josie Comes Home, airs on Sunday, May 9 on 8/7c.
