Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar finally took their 19th child home -- nearly four months after little Josie Brooklyn was born weighing only 1lb. 6oz. Josie has spent all this time in the neonatal intensive care unit but on Tuesday she finally left the hospital.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar released this statement to RadarOnline.com: "Michelle and I are very happy to report that little Josie is being released from the hospital today. And while we have plenty of practice bringing babies home, this time is very different. To be on the safe side, we’ll stay nearby in Little Rock for the short term, with the entire family returning home to Springdale in the near future. We are deeply grateful to the staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. And as always, thank you for the continued prayers and support. "

The family moved to Little Rock, Ark. to be closer to Josie while she was hospitalized. Josie now weighs 4lbs. 9oz. now and is able to breathe on her own. “Josie’s doing well; she just doesn’t have a lot of meat on her bones,” Dr. Robert Arrington told RadarOnline.com recently.
The Duggars will remain in their temporary home in Little Rock, Arkansas, which is three hours from their house in Springdale, until baby Josie is healthy enough for the move.
“We are so happy. We are so excited, we are running on adrenaline,” Michelle told People.com of taking Josie home. “I have been getting into the routine of every three hours feeding, diapering and taking her temperature. We are so encouraged that she is doing so well.
“She Josie has a strong personality,” Michelle added. “She is a spunky little thing and will keep us all going.”
Josie Comes Home Special will air May 9, Mother's Day at 8/7c on TLC.
