He’s been on loan from the LA Galaxy playing in Italy to improve his chances to play for England in the World Cup. He’s worked for three years for this moment, but now it’s feared he may miss the World Cup.

David Beckham Injured During Soccer Match
His face is scratched and the 34-year-old is walking on crutches. Beckham arrived in Turku, Finland Monday for surgery with Sakari Orava, who says it could take four months for him to recover. On Beckham’s website, under “Injury Update” it states “He is understandably upset but wants to thank everyone for their messages of support. He hopes to make a swift and full recovery.”
