Sesame Street Legend Loretta Long Recovering After Being Hit By Car

Sesame Street legend Loretta Long is recovering in a hospital after being struck by a car, RadarOnline.com can reveal. She has been listed as being in stable condition.

Long, who played Susan Robinson on the popular kids show since it’s debut in 1969, was hit by a car and carried seventy feet before being dumped on the road as she crossed Route 130 at Dutch Neck Road in New Jersey.

The veteran actress had just visited a McDonald’s restaurant on Tuesday at around 6:45pm when the accident happened.
Long was taken to Capital Health at Fuld Hospital in Trenton.

She suffered a broken tibia and a head injury and underwent CAT scans to determine the full extent of her injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, Eugene Ofman, 66, claims that he did not see Long as she crossed Route 130 as he made a left turn from Dutch Neck Road.

“The matter remains under investigation by the East Winsdsor Police Department’s Unit and Mercer County Serious Collision Response Team,” a police spokesperson said.
Long was reportedly in good spirits despite being in a lot of pain following the horror traffic accident.
