Controversial Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub was involved in a car crash Thursday, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

EXCLUSIVE: Anne Hathaway Involved In Car Accident

Staub and one of her daughters were taken for treatment at Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, at around 9 am.

Staub was overheard complaining of back pains while her daughter was being pushed around the emergency room in a wheel chair according to an eye witness.

A spokesman for Poquannock police in New Jersey said: "We can confirm that Miss Staub was involved in a minor car accident after the vehicle she was traveling in lost control in some icy conditions."

Staub ­ who used to go by the name of Beverly Ann Merrill ­ was indicted on eight felony counts, including extortion, cocaine possession, and narcotics conspiracy in 1986. She was eventually sentenced to five years probation. More details on her car crash to come.
