Lara Croft, the video game character brought to life on the big screen by Angelina Jolie is being honored in the city of her birth -- that's Lara's birth, not Angelina's.
Confused? The fine folks of Derby, England had a new road to name, RadarOnline.com has learned. And it turns out that Core Design, the company that created the Tomb Raider video games featuring treasure-hunting Brit archaeologist Lara Croft, was based in Derby.

A vote of the citizens of Derby ensued and the street will carry the sign, Lara Croft Way. Still up in the air is whether Angelina Jolie will make the trip there for the dedication ceremony.
At the moment, Ms. Jolie is busy shooting The Tourist in Paris while her mate Brad Pitt is keeping himself occupied playing Mr. Mom to their six kids.
