Rapper Gunman Sentenced

34 year-old Hosea Thomas, who was charged with killing a friend and assistant of rapper T.I. has been sentenced to 66 years to life in prison.

Last month a Cincinnati jury convicted Thomas of murder, felonious assault and illegally carrying a gun after a felony conviction.

Philant Johnson was killed in May 2006 during a gun fight on Interstate 75 after the rapper's concert. Three others in the group were also hurt.

The 28 year-old Whatever You Like rapper, who was unharmed in the attack, took the stand during the trial and said that he thinks the shooters were meant for him, and not his entourage.
