POLITICAL THEORIST Tim Gunn (Photo: Hailey Eber) RadarOnline.com caught up with Project Runway's Tim Gunn Thursday night at the 20th annual Bailey House Auction and Party, and the conversation quickly turned to politics. After Gunn criticized Hillary Clinton's abysmal fashion sense last week on Conan, we asked if he cared to expand or offer specifics. "Let me put it this way," he said coyly, "I believe in the semiotics of fashion." We took it to mean he believes Hill's gear tells the full story of her—by some measures—foundering campaign.

The event, which raised money for those living with HIV and AIDS, was co-hosted by Gunn's fellow power gays Simon Doonan, Jonathan Adler, and designer John Bartlett. RadarOnline.com flagged down ex-P-Runway-er Daniel Vosovic and his fashion friend Elizabeth Benator, who like many of the ladies in attendance wore Diane Von Furstenberg, and both were more forgiving of Hillary's fashion choices. "I don't think we should criticize Hillary," Vosovic said. "We should criticize her stylist."
