Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman are proceeding with their divorce, and have officially filed for divorce.

RadarOnline.com has learned that Barrymore, 41, and Koppelman, 38, filed the papers in Manhattan’s Supreme Court. The papers suggest the split will be clean and amicable.

The couple tied the knot when Barrymore was pregnant with their first daughter, Frankie, in 2012. They announced their split in April 2016, but RadarOnline.com broke the news of their split in October 2015.

"Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family," they said in a statement at the time.

"Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority."

"When you break up with somebody, you're like, 'yeah, that didn't work,' but when you get divorced you're like, 'I'm the biggest failure. This is the biggest failure,'" Barrymore later said on Chelsea of her third divorce.
