Actress Suzanne Somers tells Andy Cohen about Barry Manilow's recent marriage to his partner and dishes on her friendship with the couple.

In early April, reports swarmed that Barry Manilow had tied the knot with longtime partner Garry Kief – and Somers was reportedly their best man!

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, around 50 guests attended the intimate ceremony after they were led to believe they were invited to lunch at the couple's multi-million dollar Palm Springs mansion.

But the happy duo did not file the paperwork to formalize their union out of fear it would leak, sources revealed.

Somers confirmed the news during her Watch What Happens Live appearance, adding that she's been friends with Manilow for a very long time.

"He's an awesome person," she gushed. "They're both awesome people."

Though Somers wanted to protect Manilow's extreme privacy, she did comment that the two lovebirds had been together for 30 years before finally announcing their marriage.

Andy commented that while Manilow's sexual orientation has never officially been confirmed, it's "wonderful" that he's had such a long-lasting relationship through it all.

"I think it's freeing," Somers added. "He's one of the most incredible people and a true genius…and it's difficult for me to talk about it because I want to do it with complete respect and love."

Congrats to the happy couple!
