Shannon & David Beador In 'Couple's Counseling' After Mistress Run-In

Real Housewives of Orange County stars Shannon and David Beador spent the majority of last season fighting to save their marriage after they decided to expose his shocking eight-month affair.
But after the gorgeous 51-year-old housewife got into a heated argument with her husband's former lover at a USC football game on Oct. 24, a source close to the Beadors tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that it was their continued counseling that helped to ease the tensions following the awkward run-in.
"Shannon and David continue to go to counseling and this is an ongoing thing," the insider said.
"But it is not the traditional type of counseling that most couples do. They still attend a 'Couples Retreat' and the one that they go to has a 90 percent success rate with repairing marriages."
In June -- just two months after Shannon uncovered the proof that she was being cheated on by David – they told RadarOnline.com that, in addition to the couples retreat, they also have mentors that help them work their issues out.
"We have more mentors, I like to call them than counselors," David told RadarOnline.com at the time. "The mentors hold us accountable."
"My mentor is in the Army and he holds me accountable, but it is another man and I am able to speak man to man. With Shannon, she has a woman and she is able to speak woman to woman. I think that is important."
According to the source, even though last week's run in with his former lover was a little too close for comfort, luckily they have not had to see her since.
