"Patrick's got a new lease on life after Jillian took him back," an insider revealed of the pair who married in 1999. "They've been inseparable ever since."
As RadarOnline.com reported, rumors of Dempsey cheating roiled the couple's relationship and Fink went as far as filing divorce papers.
But after months of groveling and proving he was a changed man, Dempsey was finally able to win his wife back over.
The result? "It's a total transformation — Patrick's work is better, he's happier and calmer and he even looks younger, even though he's not had any surgery," said the insider of the 50-year-old actor.
Dempsey's fans can soon witness the effects of his resurrected relationship firsthand: He's about to make a huge splash in the next Bridget Jones movie and both Renee Zellwegger and Colin Firth have been raving about his performance, noted the insider.
