Meghan Markle has been revealed as the author of a racy anonymous Hollywood Internet diary.
The revelation comes as the former Suits actress gets ready to marry Prince Harry in Great Britain.
Written in a racy confessional style it chronicles a young Hollywood actress striving for fame and fortune.
Titled 'The Working Actress' back in the summer of 2012 – Markle admits that she 'hustled' for stardom.
While other entries give an insight about the highs and lows of Hollywood.
She talks about 'tough directors' and 'bitchy' acting rivals with producers who treat cast members like 'show ponies'.
In her writings Markle admits to having 'roller-coaster' emotions which swing back and forth with both success and failure.
The diary makes interesting reading given the fall of power brokers like Harvey Weinstein in more recent times.
And she admits that when she passed an audition her confidence soared but when she was rejected for a role she would end up 'sobbing in bed with a bottle of wine and a box of cookies'.
Once she weds Prince Harry the actress will never have to work again but that wasn't always the case when she was struggling.
On the hardships of acting she wrote: "I've had to freeze my acting union membership, borrow money, work jobs that I hated, endure being treated like s**t on a set, kiss actors with smelly breath and cry for hours on end because I just didn't think I could take it any more."
