Investigation Discovery's new special on Making A Murder's Steven Avery and the killing of Teresa Halbach uncovered newfound facts regarding the case, thanks mostly to some familiar faces from the Netflix series.

During Steven Avery: Innocent or Guilty, which aired Saturday, disgraced former Calumet County DA Ken Kratz alleged that Avery could have been "targeting" Halbach long before her murder, a possible angle that had been left out of Making A Murderer.

Kratz, who claims to be writing a tell-all book to clear his name, revealed that Avery had previously invited Halbach, a working photographer, to his family's salvage yard to take pictures of a car he was hoping to sell.

When she became uncomfortable, reportedly expressing fears of returning to the property, Kratz says that Avery asked her to return to photograph a second vehicle, this time using a false name.

However, Kratz's uncovered revelations may only tell half of the story.

Those opposed to the attorney's assertions during the ID special were quick to respond, sharing that Avery used his sister's name, simply because she was the car seller.

It was also revealed that Avery had asked Halbach to return due to the fact that she had been the only photographer available from the magazine running promotional photos of the car.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Kratz was recently exposed for sending inappropriate sext messages to a victim in one of his domestic violence cases.
