Courteney Cox and her ex-fiancé Johnny McDaid are taking fast steps towards a reunion — and friends say it's mostly thanks to the former Friends actress getting hypnotherapy!
"Johnny pretty much walked out because Courteney's agoraphobia was driving him crazy," an insider told Radar. "She never left the house and the rare occasion she couldn't avoid it was an epic nightmare coaxing her out the door."
As Radar reported, McDaid, 39, broke off his engagement with 51-year-old Cox and moved back to Ireland last winter.
However, the pair were recently spotted giving each other a hug and kiss in London, and they are making inroads to repairing their relationship thanks to the Cox's resolve to get help.
"Courteney was the first to admit it was a problem, but she decided to finally do something about it when she lost her man," the insider told Radar of the star's decision to undergo hypnotherapy.
"Courteney was able to prove to Johnny she'd changed by getting out and about with Jen Aniston, going shopping and even attending a fundraiser," continued the insider.
"Johnny never stayed out of touch with Courteney, and since she's got her issues under control, they're now on the fast track to getting their relationship back to how it was."
