Parents Of Cincinnati Gorilla Boy Learn Their Fate: Will They Be Charged?

An Ohio prosecutor has decided not to file charges against the parents of the boy who fell into a gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo last week, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The child's parents — Michelle Gregg, 32, and Deonne Dickerson, 37 — were reportedly facing child endangerment charges after their son, 3, accidentally tumbled into the enclosure of a 17-year-old gorilla named Harambe.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the internet went into a frenzy after zookeepers opted to shoot and kill the endangered animal in the hopes of saving the child.

Not long after, the boy's parents released a statement saying, "Our child has had a checkup by his doctor and is doing well…If anyone wishes to make a gift, we recommend a donation to the Cincinnati Zoo in Harambe's name."

The exhibit, Gorilla World, will reopen on Tuesday with a higher barrier to avoid future incidents.
