Bobbi Kristina Brown had a tumultuous relationship Nick Gordon, especially in the weeks leading up to her untimely death, pal Max Lomas claims.

In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the 27-year-old revealed new details of the couple's dangerous partying, including the drug-fueled days before Brown was discovered unconscious in her bathtub on Jan. 31, 2015.

"We were all pretty bad into drugs," Lomas told the magazine of their treacherous lifestyle, but claimed it was Brown's relationship with 26-year-old Gordon that served as the real problem.

"Their relationship was bipolar," he said. "They had extreme highs and lows and would fight, mostly about jealousy."

Two weeks before Brown's tragic incident, Lomas alleged, "We all decided that we were going to get off drugs, live healthier lifestyles. We all went to the gym together. But it didn't work out. We started using again."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, just hours before Brown went into a coma, Lomas explained that anxiety was high as the 22-year-old engaged in a heated argument with Gordon, complete with cheating accusations.

"Things were shaky. They were just trying to stay out of each other's way," he recalled.

Now, Brown's conservators continue to blame Gordon for her horrific death, and have even filed a $40 million civil lawsuit against him claiming he was abusive.

Gordon's lawyers deny the claims and even question Lomas' account, calling him drug addict.
