Ariel Winter Slams Mother For Critiquing Her Look

Modern Family star Ariel Winter is lashing out at her estranged mom for criticizing her skimpy style.
In an interview with In Touch, Crystal Workman discussed her daughter’s recent desires to show off her curvy physique.
“I would tell her to dress properly, be the beautiful person she is,” explained Workman. “I feel sad that she feels the need to expose herself when it’s not necessary.”
The 19-year-old Winter, who was emancipated from her mother in 2015 snapped back on Twitter:
“What’s sad is that you lie consistently,” Winter wrote. “Also, why is it that you only choose to talk to me through the press? I’m doing just fine. Toxic.”
Winter, who in 2015 had surgery to reduce her breast size from F to D, has never been shy about showing off her assets on social media. In May, Winter caused a stir when she posed with her TV family wearing a tight bust-revealing dress.
“Why TF does anyone care that I didn’t dress casual like everyone else for the panel?” she wrote on Instagram. “Why do I have to be like everyone else? Why can’t people just let other people feel good about themselves and do what they want?”
“WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT PEOPLE!” she wrote.
Mom Workman is just the latest to request the young starlet cover up.
“Ariel is smart, beautiful, and talented. She is a legitimate actress,” Workman told the magazine. “She does not need to do this. She is beautiful with her clothes on.”
