Are the Alaskan Bush People guilty of even more fakery?

On last night's episode of the Discovery reality show, the Brown family celebrated patriarch Billy's 63rd birthday with a camping trip, gold mining expedition, talent show and bonfire.

"This is just about the best birthday I've had in a very long time," Billy told his wife Ami, 51, and seven children— Matt, Bam Bam, Gabe, Bear, Noah, Bird & Rain — as they noshed on chocolate cake that was baked over an open fire.

The episode was clearly filmed months ago, in what seems to be the Alaskan summer. (There was no snow on the ground, and the family members wore very light jackets.)

However, according to official court records, Billy actually turns 63 today, December 3, 2015.

So it seems the wild clan threw the party six months or more before his real big day.

But a spokesperson for the Discovery reality show has an explanation for the head-scratching timeline.

"As mentioned many times throughout the series, the family doesn't celebrate holidays and birthdays off a traditional calendar, nor do they track exact days," the rep claims. "They celebrate when it strikes them…When it came to celebrating Bear's birthday, one of the boys said, 'It smells like Bear's birthday.'"

The Browns, who claim to have been born and raised in the Alaskan wilderness, previously faced fakery claims when Billy and second oldest son Bam Bam, 31, pled guilty to falsification after authorities accused them of lying about their residency on government applications.

According to the court, the father and son mostly lived in the lower 48 states— not the Alaskan bush— for three years until 2012.

In addition to December 3 being Billy's actual birthday, it's also a stressful day for the family.

As RadarOnline.com has reported, the Browns have a hearing this afternoon in Juneau District Court in relation to the falsification charges.

A judge has declared he'll seek jail time in the case.
