The secret footage, originally from an ABC News 20/20 investigation, reveals that Clinton was fully aware of the risks of negligent emails.

"As much as I’ve been investigated and all of that, you know, why would I — I don’t even want — why would I ever want to do e-mail?" she said on tape.

Clinton’s comment could reveal the real reason behind her choice to hide certain email exchanges from investigators while serving as secretary of state: she was wholly aware of the consequences communications could have.

FBI director James Comey recommended that Clinton not face criminal charges for mishandling classified information, letting the presumptive democratic nominee off the hook.

Though Comey slammed Clinton for being "extremely careless," he said the FBI could not "find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts."

While Clinton can walk free, the leaked home movie shows that the prez hopeful was more aware of the private email scandal than she led people to believe.
