LeAnn Rimes On Affair With Brandi Glanville's Husband: I Ask God For Forgiveness Every Day

LeAnn Rimes concedes she's no angel, admitting she prays for forgiveness everyday, for the 2009 affair that ended two marriages: her's with dancer Dean Sheremet, and now-husband Eddie Cibrian's with ex-wife Brandi Glanville.
"I've definitely asked for forgiveness … on a daily basis," the How Do I Live singer told ET Wednesday. "We are human beings who are going to sin and make mistakes and if you have that connection, for me, is something that I feel is bigger than me, it's not something that's unusual to do."
Asked why she's opening up with so much candor on her new album Spitfire, LeAnn said that "people have had the lies to twist for so long, they can have the truth to twist now," adding "there was something very freeing about" baring her soul through her art.
The 30-year-old songstress said her new album has elements that will leave the listener feel like they're "eavesdropping or a fly on the wall" -- especially the song Ruin Me, in which she sings about how her relationship with Eddie has taken her to such intense places, she's not sure she could ever replicate the feeling again.

"You meets someone that has all of those things you'd love to have in a relationship ... if I had to, I hope I'd find that again, but it seems like I would never."
LeAnn, 30, added that when she told Eddie about the song, "His first words were, 'Oh no' … I was like, 'Don't worry, it's all good.'"
The former child star said her new album will shed light on how her relationship with Eddie has really been.
“I feel like so many people have written the story that they think will sell a magazine, or the story that they want to believe," she said, "but it’s so 180 of what has been written.”
Spitfire hits store June 4.
