Actress Ellen Pompeo's Father Passes Away

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo's father passed away on Saturday, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
Joseph E. Pompeo, father of the 42-year-old actress, died in Massachusetts and a funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 7 at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church in the Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
When Ellen was just four-years-old her biological mother, Kathleen, passed away of an accidental painkiller overdose.
Her father remarried and is survived by Ellen's stepmother, Sheila Lubell Pompeo, and Ellen's five siblings.
