Paris Hilton‘s sex tape partner, Rick Salomon, and The Hangover II star, Nick Cassavetes are also being sued — in addition to Tobey Maguire — over a high stakes illegal poker ring, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
Salomon is being sued for $23k and Cassavetes for $73k by investors in a hedge fund who are claiming that Brad Ruderman, who organized the poker games and was CEO of Ruderman Capital Partners, used their money for an elaborate Ponzi scheme that he hatched in order to fund his extravagant gambling habit.
The lawsuit against Salomon states: “to recover the value of the 4-Year Transfers from Salomon for the benefit of the Estate, in the amounts of $23,000, plus interest at the maximum legal rate from the date of the 4-year transfers..” The court docs reveal that Salomon was paid $23,000 on April 18th, 2008.
The court documents relating to the Cassavetes lawsuit reveal he was paid $73,800 on August 25, 2007.
An FBI investigation into Brad Ruderman uncovered how he lost $25 million of investor money in clandestine poker games held on a twice weekly basis in suites at the luxury Beverly Hills Hotel, Four Seasons, and the Viper Room on Sunset Boulevard.
