In honor of what would have been Les Paul‘s 96th birthday Wednesday, the web giant morphed their logo into a guitar — and it plays!

And for all you tech geeks out there, the web innovators even gave the recipe for the guitar in a blog: “If you’re curious, the doodle was made with a combination of JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas (used in modern browsers to draw the guitar strings), CSS, Flash (for sound) and tools like the Google Font API, goo.gl and App Engine.”
