Before Jerry Springer became the king of tabloid television, he was just a bouncing British-born baby, as we discovered when the 66-year-old star opened up his private photo album to RadarOnline.com.
What’s more, we’ve also learned a little known fact about the political pundit-turned-talk show host.
He was born in the most unlikely of places — London’s Underground!
Jerry came into this world at the Highgate tube station while the station was used as a shelter from German bombing during World War II.
At the age of five, he moved to the United States with his family and was brought up in Kew Gardens, NY, where he frequently visits when he’s in Queens.
Jerry went on to become a cultural and civic icon as host of the popular Jerry Springer Show, now in its 20th season, as well as the mayor of Cincinnati.
He even won America’s heart with his ballroom dancing on Dancing with the Stars!
