Although Paris Hilton was booked and released without bail in just three hours Saturday morning, the same can't be said of her boyfriend Cy Waits, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The two were arrested just before midnight when the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department pulled over the Cadillac SUV Waits was driving.

According to a statement from Vegas Metro to RadarOnline.com, "The basis for the stop was that the officer noticed the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle as it traveled along Las Vegas Blvd near the Wynn Hotel Casino."

The police also acknowledged what RadarOnline.com was first to report, that Paris was taken from the vehicle to the security offices at the Wynn.

"Hilton was moved into the security office of the Wynn Resort," the statement continues.  "Once Inside, it was discovered that Ms. Hilton had cocaine in her possession.  She was arrested for one count Possession of Cocaine, transported to the Clark County Detention Center, and booked accordingly.  Hilton was released on her own recognizance at 2:45 am Saturday, which is standard procedure for anyone facing similar charges."
