Jesse James’ ex Janine Lindemulder has given her blessing over his rumored budding romance with Kat Von D.

“Jesse has known Kat for a long time and I don’t have a problem if they are involved with one another but he does not seem to know what he wants,” Lindemulder told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

After she and James allegedly were spotted getting cozy in Las Vegas, Kat gave a radio interview saying, “I’ve known Jesse since I was 22. We’ve always been friends.”
She went on to say their connection goes past the physical: “I think I’m his type on a different level than people would assume. Just because we both have tattoos doesn’t mean we’re a perfect match!”

Despite approving of the duo, she is hoping James takes things slowly in regards to introducing any new woman into their daughter Sunny’s life.
“One minute he is moving down to Austin to be beside Sandra [Bullock] and the next he is hooking-up with some tattoo artist from Los Angeles,” Janine continued.
“I just hope she is not being introduced to my daughter too soon because she has a lot of changes going on right now with moving to a new place and starting a different school.”

James recently moved his three kids to Austin over the weekend. Bullock also has a home and several business in town.
