R.I.P: Prince Memorial Concerts Being Planned In New York & Los Angeles
Prince's family, friends and fans are mourning the music legend following his tragic death last Thursday morning. And now, in the star's signature style, his peers are planning two blowout concerts to celebrate his remarkable life, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
Prince's fellow industry pals "are throwing big memorial celebrations," an insider tells RadarOnline.com, adding that the bashes will likely be held in two enormous venues: New York's Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles' Staples Center.
According to the source, Chaka Kahn, Mavis Staples, Larry Graham, and the Bangles will perform, in addition to "loads of big-name friends."
However, as RadarOnline.com reported, Prince's estate is a mess, as his lawyers and loved ones struggle to find a will and family members begin to fight over his $300 million fortune.
"No one is in charge right now, which makes planning anything difficult," the source adds.
