Phaedra To Face Judge Over Claims She Ran 'Criminal Enterprise' With Apollo Nida
As Apollo Nida whiles away his days behind bars, his wife, Phaedra Parks is about face a judge herself! RadarOnline.com has learned that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star's defamation lawsuit with author Angela Stanton is set to go to trial after nearly four years — and it promises to be explosive.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Parks sued Stanton back in 2012 over claims that she made in her book, Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell The Truth & Shame The Devil. Stanton made the outrageous claim that Parks oversaw a "criminal enterprise" alongside husband Nida, using fake bank accounts, bad checks, stolen cars and worse, according to court documents. In addition, the records in the case state that she even unbelievably alleged that Parks had a secret "girlfriend," was into "freaky" sex, and so much more!
Parks, 44, sued her for defamation, and Stanton hit back with her own counterclaims. Parks tried multiple times to have those counterclaims dismissed, but was denied most recently back on March 12, 2016.
There is one more hearing for a potential summary judgment on April 20. But if the judge denies the judgment yet again, the case will go to trial the next day, on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. in Georgia.
