Caitlyn Jenner's reality show is not the success that many had hoped, and RadarOnline.com has learned she thinks there's on person to blame -- her ex, Kris Jenner! According to insiders, Caitlyn has accused the momager of sabotaging I Am Cait by secretly working with producers to make her look bad.
In Sunday night's episode of I am Cait, for example, there was a discussion about transgender youth that quickly turned awkward.
During a heated discussion with her new trans pals, Caitlyn said, "Can't they make more not working, with social programs, than they actually can with an entry-level job?. You don't want people to get totally dependent on it. That's when they get in trouble."
The backlash was immediate on social media, with critics accusing Caitlyn of being out of touch, and of living in a privileged bubble. Soon after, an insider told Radar, the former Olympic athlete accused her ex of giving producers the idea to address her conservative views.
"Caitlyn had no idea that her comments would create such a furor," the source said. "It's no secret that she has extremely conservative views, as she revealed during the interview with Diane Sawyer."
"Not having lived as a member of the LGBT community is definitely hurting her, and Caitlyn feels that Kris is media savvy enough to know it," the source claimed. "Getting producers to seize on it was a no brainer."
"Having the same production team involved as Keeping Up With The Kardashians only heightens Caitlyn's suspicions. She feels that everything she is working towards, is now an absolute joke," the source continued.
Ratings for I Am Cait continue to be a shocking disappointment for E! and their star, with the reality show losing 50 percent of the audience from the premiere episode in its second week: With only 1.3 million viewers, it was lower than any episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The source added, "This was the reason sons Brandon and Brody didn't want to participate. They just had this feeling that it was going to turn into a train wreck."
