Authorities have interviewed a 15-year-old girl allegedly involved in Anthony Weiner's latest sexting scandal, a senior law enforcement source told the New York Daily News.

When asked if evidence of sexual exploitation of children could lead to an indictment for the shamed congressman, the insider said: "It wouldn't surprise me."

Meanwhile, the North Carolina teen went public with her alleged involvement in last month, claiming to have exchanged a number of sexually explicit texts with Weiner.

Communication reportedly began in January and continued on through July, with Weiner — operating under the username "T Dog" — sending shirtless selfies and engaging in crude dialogue.

The teen also claimed that Weiner encouraged her "to role play rape fantasies with him and utter his name as she touched herself," NYDN reports.

The girl's father later called Weiner's actions "absolutely criminal," adding, "I'll be in jail if I come into contact with him."

When the shamed politico's latest sext scandal went public this summer, revealing raunchy pictures Weiner sent of himself with his three-year-old son in the frame, it proved to be the last straw for wife of six years, Huma Abedin.

Hillary Clinton's top aide announced she was dumping him in a statement that read: "After long painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband."

According to CNN, investigators slapped Weiner with a subpoena for his cell phone in September.
