Will Meghan Markle Reunite With Disgraced Dad Thomas On Upcoming U.S. Visit?
Meghan Markle is heading towards a secret showdown reunion with her disgraced dad Thomas, according to The Mirror.
The former Suits star, who married Prince Harry and became a Duchess, plans a solo tour of the United States in three weeks.
During the visit back home to America, Meghan, 37, could quietly reunite with her father, a source told the British publication.
The Mirror insider said, "The possibility of a reunion has been discussed and Meghan looks set to incorporate it into her trip.
"Thomas is apparently keeping two dates free at the end of the month with a view to traveling from his home in Mexico to L.A. to meet his daughter.
"The location and exact dates will be top secret for both their sakes. It is a very sensitive time for them, but the intent seems to be to heal the rift."
But will it be a joyful reunion for Thomas—or a trip to the woodshed?
Thomas, 74, has caused a ruckus in the royal family since Meghan wed Harry on May 19.
The Windsors were "shocked and blindsided" when Meghan's once-reclusive dad, who lives Mexico, opened up to journalist Piers Morgan in a TV interview about his chats with Prince Harry about politics, his staged photo scandal, his heart condition and his biggest regrets after missing his daughter's wedding day!
But loose cannon Thomas wasn't through—he also gave an explosive interview to The Sun in which he said he believes his daughter is smiling through the pain and pressure of being part of the British royal family.
"There's a high price to pay to be married to that family," Thomas candidly opined.
He believes that he's been shunned for almost two months for the staged photos and speaking publicly about Meghan and Harry.
No doubt on a visit with her father, Meghan will address his many controversies!
Thomas recently moaned, "I had a heart attack, doesn't anybody care? I could actually die soon. Does she want this to be the last thing we've said to each other?"
Thomas, who reportedly suffered a heart attack which caused him to miss his daughter's wedding, is now said to be "delighted" that Meghan wants to bury the hatchet and reunite.
The Mirror source said Meghan's half siblings Samantha and Thomas Jr. will not be at the meeting, and neither will Prince Harry.
Samantha dissed Meghan on the Duchess of Sussex's 37th birthday this weekend.
The source said, "The plan is in early stages but Meghan seems to be tentatively moving towards meeting her father on her own."
