Queen Elizabeth, 92, has given Meghan Markle her seal of approval, and has even become her go-to guide for royal protocol following her grandiose nuptials to Prince Harry, 33.
This Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex and the Queen arrived at Chester after spending the night on the royal train from London.
Meghan wore an elegant beige Givenchy dress, as the monarch looked cool as ever in a bright lime green coat by Stuart Parvin and matching hat.
The former Suits star ditched her messy bun for a wavy hair do that went perfectly with her chic ensemble.
Meghan and the Queen watched in awe as Chester community performers put on a culturally-rich show including children’s performances and musical numbers.
Harry’s new wife was often caught whispering in the Queen’s ear as she asked her for advice on her royal etiquette.
They were even seeing giggling and joking around like long-lost friends!
Meghan maintained her composure as she enjoyed the shows and was careful to remain seated in a “Duchess slant” the entire time!
When it was time to greet community members and architects, Meghan stayed to the left of the Queen, and kept her pace while flashing a bright, cheery smile.
Could the former Hollywood starlet already be outshining Duchess Kate Middleton?
