Shocking Video: Wendy Williams Appears Frail Riding Motorized Scooter On Walmart Trip
Wendy Williams is on another hiatus from her talk show following an alcohol relapse – and she doesn’t appear to be doing well. In an exclusive video obtained by RadarOnline.com, the troubled talk show host appeared sickly while shopping at Walmart on Thursday, April 4.
In the video, Williams, 54, is riding a motorized shopping cart during the late-night Walmart run in Ellenville, New York.
“Where are the sweatpants for women?” she asked in the video.
She appeared frail while wearing a black turtleneck shirt. Her eyes are bulging in the shocking clip.
Despite ditching her wedding ring in recent outings, a diamond ring could be seen on her left hand.
An eyewitness exclusively told RadarOnline.com, “She walked in and was in the bathroom for 20 minutes. When she came out, she went to get the wheelchair cart. She was walking fine with no limp.”
The customer tried to talk to her, but her team “wouldn’t allow it.”
When the onlooker managed to ask for a selfie, Williams responded, “No, not at this time.”
“She looked frantic,” the insider said. “Once we started taking the pictures, she wanted to get out of there.”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Williams took a two-month break from her talk show following months of bizarre behavior.
She claimed the break was because of a change in medication due to thyroid issues. But RadarOnline.com reported she was dealing with her husband Kevin Hunter’s alleged affair with Sharina Hudson.
She addressed divorce rumors during her Monday, March 4 comeback episode.
“Marriages are not easy – and don’t ask me about mine until you see this gone,” she said of her ring. “It ain’t going anywhere, not in this lifetime. He is my best friend, my lover, he’s all this and he’s all that. I know what you’ve been saying and I know what the streets have been talking about.”
Then on Tuesday, March 19, Williams, who has been open about her battle with substance abuse, revealed she’s been living in a Long Island City sober living home.
Daily Mail reported Williams was allegedly rushed to the hospital after relapsing on alcohol on Monday, March 25. Williams was reportedly given a big of IV fluids to help her sober up.
The relapse came after Hunter’s suspected mistress gave birth to their love child, a baby girl.
Williams is on a second break, which she claimed was scheduled. She is expected to return next week.
