What Would Lisa Think? 'Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor Slams Fan With 'Transphobic' Comment
Lisa Vanderpump is a very vocal ally to the LGBTQ community — and has made it a point to hire a diverse staff, including trans model Billie Lee, to her restaurants and reality show, Vanderpump Rules.
But longtime SUR bartender and Vanderpump Rules villain Jax Taylor, 38, offended fans with a seemingly transphobic comment by slamming a female Instagram commenter as "manly."
The drama started when a fan criticized Taylor's photo of Vanderpump, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval's new restaurant Tom Tom with an innocuous comment about the design.
"Tell @Lisavanderpump the décor looks beautiful, but it looks like there's a little too many pink stools – maybe add some black ones to make it a little more manly," a fan named Jenn told Taylor on July 28.
"The only thing that looks manly is you sweetie," Taylor snapped back. "Stop taking male hormones, not attractive."
Taylor's followers immediately fought back.
"I'm surprised at you. That was really an uncalled for rude response," one fan huffed. "She was just stating it's a man's bar decor. That's why it's called TomTom. She didn't attack a person's appearance."

"I suggest not shaming women or making disgusting derogatory remarks about the trans community when your boss, and the only reason you are even relevant, is an advocate for the lgbtq community and @itsmebillielee is your co-worker and supposed friend," another said.
Taylor has yet to explain his controversial comment.
