Tori Roloff's Nipple Pain While Breastfeeding Stokes Pregnancy Rumors
Tori Roloff has revealed she's suffering nipple pain while breastfeeding her nine-month-old son.
But the admission has followers of the Little People, Big World star wondering if it could be a sign she's pregnant again—and comes hot on the heels of RadarOnline.com reporting last month that Tori had hinted she was expecting a second child.
Tori, who is married to Zach Roloff, 27, asked fans for breastfeeding advice on social media on Feb. 8.
She revealed she had started experiencing nipple pain while nursing Jackson, who is a little person like his dad.
But one fan responded, according to In Touch, "Nipple pain... either he's not latched good, or you're pregnant again. Seen both happen, trust me."
Another follower wrote, "if it hurts to breastfeed at 9 months, you might want to take a pregnancy test, just saying."
But not all of Tori's fans thought she was pregnant again, and some recommended a nipple shield for possible cracking during nursing.
Tori wrote back, "You guys are so amazing, I feel like this was how social media is supposed to be used, mamas helping mamas. Thank you for all of your advice."
The reality TV star surmised, "I think the pain is due to baby boy having six teeth. At least that's what I'm going with... and praying it's not thrush."
Thrush is when nipples become cracked and infected with fungus; it can be treated with cream.
The website American Pregnancy Association notes that nipple soreness and breast changes could be an early sign of pregnancy.
Although Tori appeared to donwplay the new pregnancy speculation, she'd earlier caused talk on Instagram by posting a picture of Zach bonding with baby Jackson.
"This right here ladies and gentlemen is the reason why I married this man," she captioned the post that got attention in January.
"The fact that he gets down and plays with his kids. He so good to Jackson and I. I love you so much babe uh! This photo also just makes me so excited for the future… I literally see daddy and j plotting their next big adventure."
The mom of one's use of the phrasing "plays with his kids" spiked suspicion that Tori is expecting another baby soon.
"Kids? I am not understanding the plural," one fan wrote.
Another questioned, "You keep referring to more than one child. Are you expecting?"
Zach and Tori, who married in 2015, have shared their lives with fans on the reality show, as when they were devastated over their beloved dog, Sully, dying.
Viewers also saw the two learning their then-unborn baby was born with the same dwarfism as Zach (Tori is average-sized).
Although they were thrilled to have a healthy baby, no matter what size he'd turn out to be, Zach admitted to his mom Amy on camera that his own little person childhood was "tough. You can't keep up. You can't out-climb the other boys on the trees, you can't outrun the other boys…Remember when I would come crying to you?"
Zach suffered nausea and a sever migraine headache at the start of Tori's pregnancy. He was finally rushed to the doctor to recover.
