Asked about the TODAY's recent ratings swoon -- and the subsequent media attention following it -- Katie told the Private Parts star, "There were some possible overtures forme to go back to the TODAY show, but they evaporated … for me, that was the best job."

Katie said of the show's embattled co-host Matt Lauer: "You know what? I actually had a little crush on Matt when he was the local news anchor on WNBC, because I though he was so funny and so quick."
