Is Ted Cruz losing it? The presidential candidate just released a bizarre new attack ad against Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump that has politicos scratching their heads.

Set in Clinton's fictional war room, the ad is set to dramatic music and shows lookalikes of Clinton and her staffers.

Clinton's staff discusses strategies as to how she will defeat Trump and ultimately win the presidency.

"Donald Trump is paving the way for you to win the White House," one actor says to fake Clinton.

The ad works as a double attack, listing both Trump's failures and painting Clinton as a scheming politician, using government organizations like the IRS to attack Trump.

"Our friends at the IRS say Trump's returns are full of bombshells," one fictional staffer said. "He claims to be a billionaire, but takes tax credits for people that make less than half a million a year."

The video claims that if Trump faces off against Clinton in the general election there's no way she could lose, unless Cruz becomes the Republican nominee.

"How do we stop Ted Cruz?" Clinton is asked.

"I don't think we can," another staffer says.

The ad ends with an old photo of Trump mingling with the Clintons, with a caption that reads "ONLY TED CRUZ CAN DEFEAT TRUMP AND CLINTON."

Is he right or has Lyin' Ted struck again?
